June starts off with some great energy for socializing, creativity, and maybe even romance, as Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune form a grand trine in the skies on the 1st and 2nd. It’s a good time to get out and enjoy yourself – although the Capricorn Moon will want to make sure you’ve done some work, first. The good vibe extends through the weekend, so make the most of it.
Things may be a little less harmonious on the 5th, as Venus opposes Pluto. While relationships and financial agreements that are in a good spot should be fine, tensions may simmer if things are more vulnerable. It’s likely that the pot won’t boil over until Venus squares Uranus on the 14th, but it could make for an uneasy week.
We begin a very Neptunian period on the 5th through the 7th, as Mercury and the Sun square Neptune. We’re likely to be a bit off in our communication. It isn’t necessarily that anyone is lying, but Mercury/Neptune makes it easier to make facts fit with a grander vision, rather than the other way around. Sun/Neptune, exact on the 7th, can make heroes and villains out of ordinary folks (see above about relationships). It isn’t a good time to make a deal or come to a decision about practical matters, but it’s great for creativity and fantasy.
The New Moon in Gemini on the 13th is a great time to set intentions about everyday routine and our connections with neighbors. It doesn’t have the grand drama of relationships or career, but the everyday world of commuting and buying groceries makes up a big part of our lives – honor it!
Neptune stations to retrograde on the 18th. The days before and after are subject to foggy uncertainty – the more sure you are, the further off the mark you probably are. This is another period that’s great for meditation, creativity, and fantasy, but less than ideal for making practical decisions.
Venus, planet of love and relationship, gets active again from the 20th through the 25th, opposing Mars and squaring Jupiter. In our relationships, we may find ‘too much of a good thing’ or may find that we have more options than we realized. Venus is in Leo, where she likes to have fun and be dramatic, while the other planets have a more serious attitude. Still, too much of a good thing may be a challenge, but there are worse problems.
The month ends with a rather tense period from the 26th through the 28th, as Mars stations to retrograde and Sun opposes Saturn just before the full moon in Capricorn. Mars stations tend to amp up tensions and get us to be kind of prickly – something that’s likely to be exacerbated by the full moon energy. Saturn may act as an anchor so that we don’t fly too far off the handle, but many folks will just feel his weight as a frustration. It’s a good time to keep active with plans already underway, but hold off on beginning new projects.
