Celestial activity calms down a bit in November. Most of the action centers around Mercury and Venus, who will both be ending their retrogrades on November 13th. Expect a little confusion around mid-month, and remember that retrograde mishaps tend to be most prominent around the stations, so the time from the 11th through the 15th is particularly likely to present problems.
Retrograde Venus connects with her BFF, Jupiter, on the 4th, opening up social and creative opportunities. Things that emerged around mid-August might be getting a revisit now, but plans may have to wait until the end of the month before you see real results.
Partnership asteroid Juno meets with Pluto on the 5th, in the sign of Aquarius. This aspect can signal an opportunity to deepen a commitment, or potentially to break away from a relationship that has lost its value.
The Scorpio New Moon is on the 9th. This lunation asks us what we need to hold and what we need to let go, in our personal and collective lives.
Celestial Warrior Mars meets with Jupiter in Leo on the 16th. This aspect can mean bold and somewhat impulsive actions on every level. In our personal lives, this isn’t a bad thing unless someone gets a little too full of themselves – pride and bossiness will emerge in some quarters. Use it to fuel the courage to act in situations that you’re sure about. In the collective, we’re likely to see some grandstanding and bluster, but then again, when don’t we see that?
The vibe continues through the 19th, as the Sun squares Jupiter and Mars. Egos can be inflated, but decisive action should yield noticeable results – quickly.
Earth Mother Ceres stops to retrograde in Cancer on the 22nd. See what news emerges around this time in the areas of the environment and our food supply.
Also on the 22nd, the Sun enters Sagittarius. The last Fire sign of the zodiac actually brings us to the darkest days of the year (in the Northern Hemisphere). We’re charged with bringing our own light (Fire) during this time – Christmas lights, Chanukkah and Kwanza candles, and other forms of human-made illumination dominate this season.
The Gemini Full Moon is on the 24th. Generally speaking, this is a fun full moon, great for parties and pre-Thanksgiving gatherings. Yet this full moon doesn’t happen in isolation. The Sun connects with Pluto and Uranus from the 23rd to the 25th. There’s a volatility from the Uranian connection, and power is added by Pluto. Plus, below the surface the nebulous influence on Neptune can obscure what’s going on. Expect this to be a very charged time, and note that sleep may be hard to come by. Sparks may fly at the collective level.
The month ends with two important aspects. On the 29th, Uranus trines Pluto, an aspect that is linked strongly to technology and social change. Since Uranus stopped to retrograde in September, there’s been a lot of concern about artificial intelligence, and we’re likely to get another piece of the story around this time. However, also keep your eyes open for signs of progressive social change.
The Sun and Saturn make an easy trine on the 30th, signaling the possibility of moving forward at both the personal and collective levels. With Truth-Teller Pallas Athene stopping to go direct in Aries on the same day, we’ll be hearing from prominent people – probably women – on important issues.
